Ken Bostrom

He started teaching and supporting the students with accounting and bookkeeping until he would teach all of the courses. He found he had a love for teaching and seeing the “lights come on” for his students. Over the years he has had his own tax and accounting clients, as well as taught for International training institutions teaching management and accounting related courses.

Ken is currently Director of Education which in part means that he is helping our students become our next success stories. Over the past few years, he has helped upgrade the training platform that has made learning even easier and more enjoyable for the student. Ken is the author behind our Professional Bookkeeper’s Guide to QuickBooks, as well as it’s annual updates. You could say Ken wrote the book on how to use QuickBooks to get more done in less time and to become a Profit and Growth Expert. He is a certified Color Accounting instructor, QuickBooks Specialist, and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. 

As mentioned before Ken loves to see his students succeed. One of the biggest steps to succeed is to “Plan your work and work your plan”. Set a schedule of when you are going to do your work, place it on your calendar and stick to it. Universal is here to help you be in business for yourself but not by yourself.
