INTRODUCTION

Universal Accounting Center is a post-secondary vocational school specializing in accounting-related professional certifications including bookkeeping, tax preparation and planning and advisory services, specifically desinged for the freelance accountant to best serve small business clients.  We collect your telephone number and email address when you submit your initial inquiry or schedule your online calendar appointemnts to explore your career opportunities in accounting through our courses and programs.     

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA
We collect the email and telephone number of interested parties who want to advance their careers visit our website and complete an information request form, or schedule an appointment with one of our staff.   They provide express consent regarding which method of contact they will allow: telephone, text/SMS, and/or email and confirmed.  This is imported into our secure CRM system upon submission of the form or appointment request. 

HOW WE USE CONTACT AND CONSENT DATA
Contact and consent information will be shared only with Uhiversal Accounting staff for the following purposes: 

• To answer the inquiries of prospective students and confer with them on their career goals and objectives; explore their opportunities and options, provide relevant course recommendations; and to facilitate enrollment in any program or course they choose, if any; 
• Ship any purchased product or materials and confirm delivery; 
• Collect payments; 
• Keep students and prospective students updated on relevant school news and products and course offerings, from time to time; 
• Provide the ongoing coaching, consulting and accademic support entailed in your enrollment.   

SMS/text consent and phone number will never be shared or disclosed and will be kept confidential and will not be shared, sold or conveyed to any third party for marketing purposes.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place a ppropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We will maintain your record in our secure system until usch time as you unsubscribe to SMS, telephone, and/or email contact.
