The program delivers what it promises: practical small
business accounting that isn’t taught in the
universities. I wish I’d had this course before I
started my first job in public accounting 10 years
ago. After years of applying tax law and regulations
(mostly with nonprofits) while someone else did the
bookkeeping and write-up, I found myself embarrassingly
deficient in certain aspects of small business
accounting and accounting software. Now that I have my
own tax practice, I need to fill in the gaps. This
course (and the QuickBooks course) fits the bill. I find the practical approach by Allen Bostrom very
valuable and many CPA’s, especially those wanting to
start their own practice, would benefit immensely from
the bookkeeping course.
