Allen Bostrom
Business Growth & Practice Development – Instructor
I look forward to speaking with you
Allen Bostrom, CPA, has dedicated his career to helping accountants and small business owners build stronger, more profitable companies. Mentored early in life by his father in small business principles, Allen learned that sustainable success begins with hard work, financial clarity, and disciplined decision-making — a philosophy that continues to shape his work today.
While earning his accounting degree, Allen gained hands-on experience inside an accounting firm, mastering the practical realities that textbooks often overlook. After graduation, he joined Exxon Company USA, where he spent more than a decade in budgeting, forecasting, and profit performance roles within one of the world’s largest corporations.
Drawn back to entrepreneurship, Allen transitioned from corporate leadership to consulting with small businesses, helping owners increase profitability and regain financial control. In 1992, he became President/CEO of Universal Accounting Center, where he has trained tens of thousands of accountants, bookkeepers, and tax professionals in business management, client advisory services, and practice marketing.
Allen’s teaching is strategic, practical, and growth-focused — equipping professionals not just to manage numbers, but to build thriving, resilient firms.
