In this presentation, Gabrielle will share her expertise in Virtual Bookkeeping and how to take your bookkeeping service on-line. You will learn the difference between traditional bookkeeping and virtual bookkeeping, 3 workflow scenarios for safe and efficient online practice, and specific tools you will need to use. She will cover some critical best practices, opportunities for growth and the first steps you can take to get implement your virtual bookkeeping practice. Gabrielle brings 24 years of experience in freelance bookkeeping and over 11 years of experience in providing services on-line.

Gabrielle Fontaine has been a freelance bookkeeper since 1990 and has written the book on growing a virtual bookkeeping service after successfully launching her own online service in 2003. She is a graduate of Universal Accounting Center and a Certified Professional Bookkeeper. She is the author of “How to Start a Successful Home-Based Freelance Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation Business,” and “Virtual Bookkeeping Secrets: 7 Steps to Taking Your Bookkeeping Service Online.” She also publishes The Freelance Bookkeeper, a newsletter for freelance home-based bookkeepers and accountants.

Clay Neves is Vice President of Business Development of Universal Accounting Center. He has served as Director of Seminars and Marketing Services, and Vice President of Student Enrollment prior to his current assignment. He has served in the professional training and education industry for 18 years. He has also served as a Chamber of Commerce President and was awarded the Exchange Clubs of America Book of Golden Deeds Award for his community service.
