Our experience has shown that, during each of the past ten years, the demand for accounts receivable, payable and payroll clerks, bookkeepers, accounting assistants and other accounting paraprofessionals has either remained steady or has increased. The wages that employers are willing to pay for these positions have also increased steadily during this period. We have concluded that it adequately prepares individuals for the above jobs. The advanced courses proposed by UAC-The Accounting and Bookkeeping Center will add to the accounting and bookkeeping capabilities of job seekers. We believe that UAC-The Accounting and Bookkeeping Center will effectively prepare job seekers for entry-level accounting and bookkeeping positions, and that it’s program will be of significant benefit to the aspiring employees, employers, and economy of the Baltimore region.
