In the last couple months, we’ve run many articles explaining how readers can take advantage of the holiday season to market more effectively, secure more clients, and prepare for a lucrative New Year. And while it’s important to leverage seasons and circumstances to your advantage as a professional, it’s also important to celebrate the joy and good will that make this time of year so special.
On Christmas Eve, we at Universal would like to take a moment to reflect on the importance of kindness and compassion, not just during the holiday season but throughout the year. And while exercising these virtues may not be the most popular way to get ahead in business, we do believe it ensures a happy and fulfilled life, both personally and professionally.
May we all use our professional connections and reputations to do good. May we find ourselves surrounded by those who love and support us and also by many more whom we love and support. May we feel the joy and happiness that comes from serving others, doing good deeds, and assisting those in need onto more beneficial paths. May we be filled with the warmth that comes from being a good citizen, colleague, friend, and light.
