The Profit & Growth Expert program was created to help accounting professionals confidently market, sell and offer quality accounting services to build the premier accounting firm.

Course Description

When you pass the final exam with a 90% or better, you’ll be certified as a Profit & Growth Expert allowing you to place after your name the “PGE” designation to show that you advise your clients to turn their business from “Red to BLACK” to being “in the BLACK” following our proven processes.  You will know what to do, how to sell, price and market your services to your ideal clients! This is the accounting model of the present and for the future.  Soon you’ll have the premier accounting firm in your area working with the clients you love.

The intent of this program is to help you have the premier accounting business such that you are in business for yourself but not by yourself.  In addition to creating your business plan, you’ll work with your assigned business coach to identify and implement effectively proven marketing efforts that we’ve determined to be both effective and inexpensive.

Meet Your Instructors

Roger Knecht, President of Universal Accounting Center. As one of your instructors Roger Knecht will help you understand how you can go beyond traditional accounting services to also offer important value added consultative offerings as a certified Profit & Growth Expert.  You’ll begin with the end in mind to add to your suite of services a 12+ month engagement to make profit a priority within the business.  Then you’ll learn the Universal Business Module to also address the most common issue facing business owners, cash flow management.  With that confidence you’ll then learn the process to effectively market and sell your services.

Allen Bostrom, CPA – As your instructor he was the President/CEO (founded in 1979) until 2014 when he was able to expand his interest in helping accountants become better business consultants, and a stronger support for their employers and small business clients. Since that time, he has trained tens of thousands of accountants, bookkeepers, and tax preparers in practice and client management techniques and strategies.
